The fabrication originated from a fake Twitter account impersonating renowned NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski. It read, “ESPN Sources: High school phenom Hansel Emmanuel has reportedly declared for the 2024 NBA Draft.”
Even with the blue dot present, it is immediately clear that this is a joke for multiple reasons.
