Russell Westbrook to the Clippers
The LA Lakers finally got rid of Russell Westbrook. He ended up in Utah where they bought out his contract and waived him. Now, he will most likely end up with the LA Clippers.
In other news:
- Police are investigating the death of a woman found dead in an alley on 24th and Drake. Authorities arrived to the location at 2:55 AM this morning. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
- Hamilton the musical is coming back to Chicago. Broadway in Chicago announced the return set for September 13, 2023 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre.
- The man accused of murdering west coast rapper Nipsey Hussle has been sentenced. Eric R. Holder received a sentence of 60 years to life from Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke II.
- In sports, Alabama basketball star Brandon Miller is under investigation for bringing a gun to a shooter who killed a woman last month.
